What Kathleen does at the Foundation:
Focus: Grantmaking and nonprofit capacity building
As Vice President of Community Engagement, Kathleen directs the delivery of integrated services and solutions for the nonprofit sector. Through the Emerging Nonprofit Leaders Program, nonprofit management classes, board training and grantmaking, these services support hundreds of strong, sustainable, and high-impact nonprofits. Kathleen’s 30 years of nonprofit and public sector experience drives her passion for developing leaders and building organizational capacity.
When Kathleen's not working:
As a nonprofit governance enthusiast, Kathleen has served on multiple boards including the Williamsburg Players, Safe Harbor, Junior League of Richmond, Virginia Anti-Violence Project, Association of Junior Leagues International, and the Virginia Sexual and Domestic Violence Action Alliance.

- Kathleen is married to Joe, and the mother of a miniature labradoodle, Pookie
- A native of Alaska, she loves to travel, and her goal is to visit all 50 states (she's been to 48 so far!)
- She relaxes by attending one of her 3 book clubs, cruising down the James River, or watching anything on Bravo
