Biography:

Bryce Powell serves as President of Midlothian Enterprises, Inc., a real estate development company that he formed in 1974.  The firm has developed residential and commercial properties throughout the metropolitan region. 

Long active in business and civic affairs, Powell is a member and former chairman of Greater Richmond Chamber of Commerce, and has chaired the boards of Collegiate Schools, Chesterfield Business Council, Leadership Metro Richmond, Public Affairs Group and Southside YMCA.  Powell also chaired the Children’s Action Council, United Way Services.  He volunteers for The Virginia Home, and serves on the boards of Hollywood Cemetary and the Virginia Historical Society.  Powell is a trustee of the William H., John G and Emma Scott Foundation, a local grantmaking foundation, and several of TCF’s supporting organizations, including the R.E.B. Foundation which focuses on public education excellence and local educational initiatives.
