Biography:

Farhad Aghdami is chair of the Tax Department at Williams Mullen, a Richmond-based law firm with offices in North Carolina, Washington, DC, and London, England. He focuses his practice on tax planning, business succession planning, mergers and acquisitions, entity formation and structuring, and wealth transfer planning and preservation. He counsels a wide variety of clients, from middle market business owners and entrepreneurs to publicly traded enterprises. In addition, Mr. Aghdami has extensive experience in Federal income, estate and gift taxation.

Farhad is a Fellow in the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, Chair of the Virginia Bar Association's Wills, Trusts, and Estates Section and Vice President of the Estate Planning Council of Richmond. In addition, he serves on the Board of Trustees of the Valentine Richmond History Center and is a member of the 2006 Class of Leadership Metro Richmond.
