Biography:
Thomas D. Byer is Senior Vice President, UBS Financial Services, Inc. He brings 40 years of experience as a Financial Advisor, with expertise in the areas of retirement planning, estate planning and charitable giving strategies. Tom has been involved as a community volunteer throughout his career and has served as President of Jewish Family Services. He is currently a trustee of the supporting foundation for Jewish Family Services and the board of the Richmond Jewish Foundation. Tom is the immediate past chairman of TCF’s Distributions Committee and now lends his expertise to the Investment and Trust Oversight Committees. In 2000, he established the Bessie Berkowitz – Byer Family Fund to honor his family’s parents and grandparents. The fund provides for care for the needs of the elderly, as well as general charitable purposes as advised by the family
