River Counties Community Foundation
Since 1996, River Counties Community Foundation (RCCF) has worked to create and preserve charitable capital in Lancaster, Middlesex and Northumberland Counties. In 2010, assets exceeded $5 million and included 52 funds created primarily by individuals to support causes and organizations that improve the quality of life in the Northern Neck. RCCF doubled its grantmaking last year with $619,000 awarded to nearly 100 nonprofits for programs ranging from after-school enrichment to senior care. Here for the long haul, RCCF continues to help donors achieve their charitable objectives while building a permanent endowment that will serve this region forever.
