Jenkins Foundation

The Jenkins Foundation is a grantmaking foundation whose mission is to improve the health of Greater Richmond.  Established in August 1995, the Foundation is committed to expanding access to community-based services through programs and organizations that have the potential to make a significant impact on the quality of health, especially for our youth.

In addition, the Foundation is committed to the long-term viability of the organizations it supports, and will consider capacity building grants that strengthen an agencies’ ability to better serve its clients.  The Foundation will also consider a limited number of proposals outside the above stated focus areas.
