Richmond Eye & Ear Foundation Fund
Grant Guidelines
Purpose
The Richmond Eye & Ear Fund is committed to serving the city of Richmond, Colonial Heights, Hopewell and Petersburg, and the counties of Chesterfield, Hanover, Henrico, Goochland, Powhatan, New Kent, Charles City, Lancaster, Northumberland, Richmond and Westmoreland in the fields of ophthalmology, otolaryngology, and oral maxillofacial surgery for qualified organizations.
The Fund’s grantmaking focuses on:
- Underserved, uninsured or medically indigent children and adults in need of ophthalmological (eye), otolaryngological (ear, nose and throat), and/or oral maxillofacial services (conditions, defects, injuries, and aesthetic aspects of the mouth, teeth, and jaws).
- Improving Access and Outreach as it relates to the services mentioned above.
- Healthcare Education/preventive care consistent with purposes of this fund.
Eligibility
Proposals will be accepted from charitable organizations, which serve the residents of the cities of Richmond, Colonial Heights, Hopewell and Petersburg and the counties of Chesterfield, Hanover, Henrico, Goochland, Powhatan, New Kent, Charles City, Lancaster, Northumberland, Richmond and Westmoreland.
Size of Awards
Generally, grants will be awarded up to $50,000. The Fund may also identify a limited number of projects, which may be awarded in excess of the current guidelines.
