R.E.B. Awards for Distinguished Educational Leadership: Recent Grants

2011 Winners

Brenda Mayo
Cosby High School (Chesterfield)
Ms. Mayo will use her award to purchase new technology, including promethean boards, and provide teacher training on how to use these new tools.

 

 

Amy Woodward
Mechanicsville Elementary School (Hanover)
Dr. Woodward will use her award to train faculty members on the concept of brain-based learning as developed by Eric Jensen.

 

 

Andrew Armstrong
John Rolfe Middle School (Henrico)
Mr. Armstrong will use his award to establish parent resource centers in some of the apartment complexes that surround John Rolfe Middle School.

 

 

Willie Bell
George Wythe High School (Richmond)
Mr. Bell will use his award to bring new technology to Geoge Wythe, including promethean boards.
