Biography:
Gita is the Human Resources Administrator for The Community Foundation Serving Richmond and Central Virginia. In her role, she manages the human resources function which includes benefits administration, recruitment, employee relations and policy development. Gita joined the staff of The Community Foundation in 2008 on a part-time basis after serving as a consultant to the Foundation for two years.
Gita is a member of the Fiscal and Administrative Officers Group (FAOG) Human Resources Committee for community foundations and is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM). She is an active volunteer in the Chesterfield County School system where her children attend school.
Gita received a B.S. in Commerce, with dual concentrations in Human Resources Management and Marketing, from the University of Virginia.
