Biography:
Kim joined the staff of The Community Foundation in 1998 and now serves as Vice President of Communications. In her role, Kim leads the foundation’s communications, media relations and marketing efforts. She is lead staff for the Richmond Giving Circle, a collaborative grantmaking experience for local philanthropists under age 50, and is involved in the marketing efforts of GiveRichmond.
Kim is a member of the communications and marketing professional network for Community Foundations. She is a 2003 graduate of the Southeastern Council of Foundation's Hull Leadership Fellows Program and a 2009 graduate of Nonprofit Learning Point's Emerging Nonprofit Leaders Program. As a volunteer, Kim applies her passion for building a stronger community through her service on the board of Southside Child Development Center, the grants committee for Faces of Hope and the marketing committees for St. Andrew’s School. She also volunteers several times a year through HandsOn Greater Richmond.
Kim received a B.A. in Government from the College of William & Mary in 1997.
