Biography:
Pavlina joined The Community Foundation (TCF) as a Finance Associate in 2006 and was promoted to Finance Officer in 2011. Pavlina is in charge of Accounts Payable and she contributes accounting/finance assistance for TCF’s support organizations: the Garland and Agnes Taylor Gray Foundation, the Commonwealth Foundations and the Commonwealth Foundation for Cancer Research. Pavlina also provides financial assistance for the Partnership for Nonprofit Excellence.
Before joining TCF, Pavlina worked as a Hotline & Administrative Assistant at Hanover Safe Place (HSP), the domestic violence and sexual assault resource center for Hanover County. While working at HSP, Pavlina helped many victims of domestic violence to escape the abuse in their lives through her work and services that the organization provided.
Pavlina earned a degree in accounting from the Business Academy in Teplice, Czech Republic. Currently, Pavlina is enrolled in Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Business, where she is concentrating in accounting.
